A popular convenience of Park City is that it has the closest ski resorts to any major airport in America. It only takes 30 minutes to get from the Salt Lake City International airport to Park City.
Many of the nearby ski resorts also feature family-friendly activities year-round. From skiing, snowboarding, and horseback riding to miles of hiking and biking trails, residents have a never ending list of entertaining things to do. There are more than 10 public and private golf courses near Black Rock Ridge and the famous Utah Olympic Park, where people can swim, high dive, bobsled, and enjoy other Olympic activities, and it’s only 10 minutes away. During summer months, the Alpine Slide, Flying Eagle Zipline, and the Alpine Coaster are all in operation. Streams, ponds, and lakes around the area provide great fishing, boating, water skiing, and swimming. Additionally, world-class instructors and guides for everything from skiing and snowboarding to guided hikes and getaways are offered for any season.

Park City Mountain Resort
Park City Mountain Resort is home to 3,300 acres of diverse terrain including perfectly-manicured groomers to powder-filled bowls and progressive half-pipes. Park City Mountain Resort even offers night skiing on three runs in the terrain park (conditions permitting).
For those who are not skiers or snowboarders, Park City Mountain Resort also features the Alpine Coaster and the Flying Eagle Zip Line. Both are within minutes of historic Main Street in Park City.
